Wali UX Experience Design

This is an ongoing internship. Wali is a mobile app that stores digital punch cards and rewards of businesses who offer loyalty programs. Users can easily manage and track their punch cards and get exclusive deals with Wali. There will be more features and functions will be available on Wali including mobile order, personal restaurant recommendations, etc.

I'm currently working at Wali as UX intern.  Here is one of the features that I was responsible for user research and mock-up design.

Feature: Age verification for 18+ business

Role: user research, user and business owner interview, mock-up design

Design Tool: Sketch

Process: Some of the businesses on Wali requires age control before allowing users to earn stamps and rewards. I interviewed the business owner about the age verification process at the store. He prefers the customers to input their date of birth by themselves and he will verify each of the customers' age in-person by checking photo ID to prevent fraud input.

Besides the mobile app, I was also responsible for designing the user experience and interface for its web-app for clients. The web app gives clients ability to review their plans and pay their plan manually or through auto-pay. I started designing this page with the information architecture and transaction flow.
